The choice shapes the holiday more than any single feature.
One house keeps everyone under one roof and around one pool.
Two neighbouring houses can give each family its own space. The trade-off is that you coordinate two houses: two room plans and two check-ins. A set is one option on this page and scores as its lower-scored villa, because linking villas never adds points.
In either form, check the bathrooms: at 12 to 16 guests, the count per house matters. Some listings do not publish it, so check it before you commit.
Options worth a closer look

Secret Beach Villa
Secret Beach Villa sleeps 12 in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms, three of them en suite. Its points come from the fields that are published: a 12 m infinity pool, sea and sunset views, exclusive use and a 1-minute walk to the beach. It is 17 minutes by car from Thong Sala. It loses points because the road to the gate is not paved and some fields are blank, such as elevation, buildings within 100 m and the year it was built or renovated. The agency listing from which its map position is taken describes a beach reached by a few steps down from the villa and live-in staff.
That listing is for Villa 4724, another entry in the table with the same bedroom count. They may be the same property, so confirm with the agency whether you are looking at one property or two.
Inn Harmony Villa and InnSpire Villa
This is the only option here whose stated maximum is exactly 14. Inn Harmony Villa takes up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, according to its own site. InnSpire Villa takes 6 in 3 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. Together: 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Both have infinity pools and sea and sunset views, at an elevation of 70 m and 65 m. Inn Harmony has 3 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms and does not publish how many are en suite; InnSpire has no separate zones; pool length and buildings within 100 m are not published for either. The pair scores as the lower-scored of the two.
The trade-off is the beach: the walk to the beach is 31 minutes from either house, and Thong Sala is 15 minutes by car. The nearest shop is 7 minutes by car. The road to the gate is not paved. Plan transport for the whole group: according to Wikivoyage, taxis on the island are songthaews (shared pick-up taxis).
Serenity Lodge
Serenity Lodge has 7 bedrooms for up to 13 guests. It is in Srithanu, 2 minutes on foot from the beach, 12 minutes by car from Thong Sala and 1 minute from a shop. Its data shows 3 buildings within 100 m, which is worth weighing against exclusive use. The number of bathrooms is not published, and neither are the pool type and sunset view. Fields that are not published count for nothing in the points, which is why its range in the table is wide.
Villa 4887
Villa 4887 (also listed as Villa 5 Elements) is in Chaloklum, with 6 bedrooms, 6 en-suite bathrooms and a 14 m infinity pool, according to its agency listing. It is a 1-minute walk from the beach. It does not meet the ranking entry conditions because no guest rating is published, not because of anything about the house. It sleeps 12.
Another entry in the table, Villa 5 Elements (Bay Villas), uses the same name and the same operator page with a different pool length (12.7 m). They may be the same property, so confirm with the operator which listing is current.
The table also shows a two-villa estate listed for 16 guests where bathrooms and map position are not published, and a three-villa estate for 26. Both can take 14 but fall outside the entry conditions.
How to read points and ranges
Points come from published data, not from opinion. A field that is not published adds nothing, and the range in the table shows how far the points could move if the missing data were filled in. A wide range means a lot is unpublished. Neither tells you how the stay will feel. Compare options on the fields that matter to your group, such as bathrooms, beach walk and access.
Before you book
- Bathrooms: ask for the count and how many are en suite, especially where the table shows none.
- Beach walk: the published values run from 0 to 31 minutes. Check it against your group’s ages.
- Access: several entries have an unpaved road to the gate in the data. Ask what vehicles can reach it.
- Sets: confirm with each operator that both houses are free on your dates and that your group can be split as you intend.
- Neighbours: buildings within 100 m are listed only for some villas.
